Warwick Gilbertson

Partner, Accredited Specialist (Family Law)

Warwick Gilbertson is Partner at Turnbull Hill Lawyers and is widely recognised as one of the most knowledgeable and respected legal professionals in New South Wales (NSW), particularly in areas of law related to Wills & Estates.

City born and country raised, Warwick understands people as much as he understands the law. It is this combination of talents, coupled with over 35 years of legal experience, that has seen Warwick become sought after for his expertise in areas and matters relating to Estates, Trusts, Wills, Superannuation Funds, Companies, Powers of Attorney, Guardianship, Business entities and the claims that can be made upon them.

Warwick's journey as a lawyer has brought him far since being admitted in 1980 to practise as a solicitor of the Supreme Court to now being Partner at Turnbull Hill Lawyers. He is the partner in charge of the Wills & Estates, Family Law, Estate Planning and Business Succession teams. He works alongside Adrian Corbould (Accredited Specialist Wills & Estates Law), Justine AubinMary Windeyer, Kaylyn Lyle & Amy Warden in the Contested Wills & Estates Team.

Adrian Corbould

Lawyer, Accredited Specialist (Wills & Estates Law)

Adrian Corbould commenced with Turnbull Hill Lawyers in 2002 and practises exclusively as a member of the Contested Wills & Estates team, working alongside Warwick Gilbertson (Partner and Accredited Specialist in Family Law), Justine AubinMary Windeyer, Kaylyn Lyle and Amy Warden.

Adrian had primary carriage for the successful appellant in the landmark NSW Court of Appeal contested wills case, Nicholls v Hall & Ors [2007] NSWCA 356. The matter is now one of the most frequently cited cases involving adult child claimants in estate disputes.

Adrian has extensive experience in Will Disputes, Contested Wills, Challenged Wills, Family Provision Claims and Inheritance Disputes in the Equity and Probate Divisions of the Supreme Court.

Justine Aubin

Justine Aubin was admitted as a solicitor in February 2016 and is a member of the Contested Wills and Estates Team alongside Warwick Gilbertson (Partner and Accredited Specialist in Family Law), Adrian Corbould (Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates Law), Mary Windeyer, Kaylyn Lyle and Amy Warden.

Justine is committed to helping those in need. She understands that her clients are going through a difficult and emotional time. She will go above and beyond to ensure that her clients achieve a desired outcome.

Justine was born in Quebec, Canada, and made the move to Newcastle around 2006. She is fluent in French and English.

Mary Windeyer

Lawyer

Mary Windeyer has been a member of our Contested Wills and Estates Team for over 15 years, working alongside Warwick Gilbertson (Partner and Accredited Specialist in Family Law), Adrian Corbould (Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates Law), Justine Aubin, Kaylyn Lyle and Amy Warden.

She represents and appears for our clients in Courts right across Sydney and also confers with clients and counsel and negotiates with other legal practitioners in Sydney.

In her legal practice, Mary's major emphasis is on the many aspects of wills and estates including wills, probate and administration of deceased estates; and disputes and claims on deceased estates.

Kaylyn Lyle

Paralegal

Kaylyn first started in the legal industry 9 years ago assisting primarily in conveyancing and property law. She then moved on and gained experience in commercial litigation before working as a Paralegal for an Accredited Specialist in Wills and Estates solely in contested Wills and probate matters in various jurisdictions including New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland for a period of 4 years.

In 2015, Kaylyn joined Turnbull Hill Lawyers working in our Contested Wills & Estates Team, alongside Warwick Gilbertson (Partner and Accredited Specialist in Family Law) Adrian Corbould (Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates Law), Justine AubinMary Windeyer and Amy Warden.

Amy Warden

Legal Secretary

Amy Warden is a legal secretary in our Contested Wills & Estates Team working alongside Warwick Gilbertson (Partner and Accredited Specialist in Family Law), Mary WindeyerAdrian Corbould (Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates Law), Justine Aubin and Kaylyn Lyle.

Amy is the first point of contact for our Contested Wills & Estates Team and will happily assist you in every way possible.

Adrian Corbould is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates Law. For more than 15 years he has helped hundreds of clients in contested estate matters. His tenacity and experience make him one of the most sought after Will Contest Lawyers in New South Wales (NSW).
