About Sally

Sally joined the team at Turnbull Hill in 2023. Sally graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Science (Biology) in 2020, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2022 and a Diploma of Legal Practice in 2022. She was admitted to practice as a lawyer in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2022 and to the High Court of Australia in March 2022.  

Sally understands that the legal process can be, at times, difficult, stressful, and confusing. Sally prides herself in ensuring that she supports her clients with a considerate and meticulous approach to ensure the best possible outcome.  

Since her admission, Sally has primarily practised in the areas of criminal law and family law, with a great interest in parenting matters. Sally has also worked on several wills and estates and employment law matters. Due to the common intertwined nature between family law and criminal law matters, Sally practices in both areas to provide her clients with holistic support for their legal matters.

Sally’s approach

Sally supports her clients throughout the entirety of a matter, from the initial enquiry, to finalisation. Sally is a strong advocate for her clients and regularly appears in the Local Court, District Court, Children’s Court, both divisions of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, mediations, and dispute resolution conferences.

What Sally does

Sally practices primarily in family law, however she has worked on several wills and estates, contested estates, criminal, and employment law matters.

She guides her clients through all of the legal aspects of separation from an initial enquiry to settlement of a matter. Sally is a strong advocate for her clients and regularly appears in both divisions of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, mediations and conciliation conferences.

Sally has worked on complex parenting matters including urgent recovery orders, matters with multiple parties, child relocation disputes, family violence, alcohol and drug abuse. Sally also has experience in property and divorce matters.

Sally has worked on several complex family law matters, including parenting, urgent recovery orders, matters with multiple parties, child relocation disputes, matters involving family violence, and alcohol and drug abuse, property settlements and divorce applications.  

Sally has worked on defending several complex criminal law matters, including apprehended violence orders (“AVO’s”), breaches of AVOs, destroying or damaging property, sex crimes, child sex crimes, driving under the influence, driving charges, larceny, common assault, and possessing a prohibited drug.

Outside of Turnbull Hill Lawyers

Outside of work, Sally enjoys going to the beach and spending time with her many animals, family and friends.
